Handcrafted Gothic Chainmail Headdress

Armour, transformed into ornament.

The CRIMSON CATHEDRAL VEIL is a sculptural chainmail headdress handcrafted by Grizz Studio, bringing together Gothic architectural lines, layered metalwork and deep crimson accents in a dramatic piece of wearable art.

Across the crown, interlinked chains form an intricate open framework inspired by the ribbed geometry of Gothic vaults. From this structure, multiple layers descend around the head in sweeping arcs, combining fine chains with denser hand-woven sections to create contrast between delicacy and armour.

Crimson crystals punctuate the silver-toned construction like fragments of stained glass within a dark cathedral. At the forehead, a larger faceted red crystal becomes the focal point of the piece, enclosed in woven metal and crossed by polished spike details.

The sides extend into asymmetric cascades of chains, woven elements and suspended spikes, creating movement with every turn of the head.

From above, it is architectural.

From the front, ceremonial.

In motion, it becomes a veil of metal.

Each piece is assembled ring by ring by hand, giving every CRIMSON CATHEDRAL VEIL subtle variations of its own.
